Meet Lyndall, Halcyon Vista's Community Manager!

Meet Lyndall, the community manager at Halcyon Vista. 

At every Halcyon Community, we pride ourselves on having dedicated Community Managers who are committed to making each resident's experience exceptional. Lyndall, our newest addition at Halcyon Vista, has a passion for fostering a warm, vibrant environment. Let's get to know Lyndall a little better and what her role is in the community!

1. What do you enjoy most about your role?
What I enjoy most is making a positive impact on people's lives. It's so fulfilling to help Home Owners settle in, create a sense of belonging, and watch friendships grow. Each day brings new challenges, but it’s always rewarding when I can make someone's experience easier and more enjoyable.

2. How do you support residents day-to-day?
I’m always here to help! Whether it’s answering questions, organizing events, or resolving any concerns, I make sure Home Owners feel supported and connected. My role is all about being a friendly point of contact and ensuring everyone feels at home.

3. How do you help new Home Owners settle in?
I meet with new residents right from the start (at settlement), guiding them through everything they need to know to make the transition easy. Whether it’s introducing them to their new surroundings or helping them get involved in local activities and groups, I make sure they feel welcome and at ease.

4. What’s your favourite part of seeing people move in?
The best part is welcoming new Home Owners to their new homes! It’s such a special moment to see their excitement and help them get started on this next chapter in their lives. It’s also lovely to see them form new connections with their neighbours right from the beginning.

5. How do you handle any challenges or concerns from residents?
I believe in open communication and addressing concerns promptly. Whether it’s a small issue or something bigger, I make sure to listen, find solutions, and keep residents informed. My goal is always to ensure that everyone feels heard and that any concerns are resolved quickly.

6. What’s your vision for the future of the community?
Halcyon Vista will continue to grow and evolve, with even more opportunities for people to connect and enjoy their lives. Building a strong, supportive atmosphere is key, and I want to help create more spaces where people can engage in activities, make lasting friendships, and feel proud to call this place home.

7. What’s the best piece of advice you have for people moving here?
Get involved! The more you engage with your neighbours and the space around you, the more you’ll get out of living here. Whether it’s joining a group or simply saying hello to someone new, those small connections can really make a difference in how quickly you feel at home.

8. And finally, what’s a fun fact about you?
I have three loves in life: my family, my furry family, and Christmas. I’ve been married for over 25 years, and we’re proud parents to 16-year-old Nicola, who shares our love for travel and adventure. We also have four Golden Retrievers, so life can get a bit furry but always fun. Christmas is my favourite time of year, I am looking forward to it at Vista!
